Part of the joy of getting engaged is letting everyone know the happy news, but after a while, the couple may need a break from talking about it. Set up a website or blog then give friends, family and coworkers the URL so they can see it for themselves. It isn’t difficult or costly.

Engagement Website and Blog Hosts

Sign up for an inexpensive or free website. For couples who are tech savvy, building a website should be a cinch. However, some of the sites offer build-it-yourself templates that even the least techie people will be able to maneuver. A couple of sites with templates are Bravenet.com and Godaddy.com. Free websites are available at The Knot. Their templates are easy to follow, and they provide suggestions to make the site appealing and inviting.

A blog may be easier for some people, and it can be set up to look like a website. Signup is easy and free at Blogspot.com and Wordpress.com. Both of these sites have easy instructions for anyone who can follow directions. After the initial signup, the blog can be updated as often as needed with pictures, news and calendars of events.
