Walt Disney World has entertained families for decades so it is no surprise that they boast two water parks for guests to play at. Blizzard Beach portrays a ski theme and Typhoon Lagoon is a tropical paradise. There are lots of activities for all age groups at both of these parks. Each location has a miniature play area for pre-schoolers and little kids. These scaled-down sections are called Tike's Peak at Blizzard Beach and Ketchakiddee Creek at Typhoon Lagoon. Little ones must be less than 48 inches in height to enter each of these sections. There are lifeguards on duty at each place. All of the other rides in the parks are for older kids, teens, and adults.

Attractions at Disney's Blizzard Beach

Chair Lift: Ski resort style lift takes guests on a scenic ride where the highest park rides are located. When visitors reach the top they get off so they can board one of the water rides.
